Incorporated in 2014, our in-house trustee company manages the completion of Probate (known in Scotland as Executrix or Confirmation of Estate) and the formal “winding up” of Family Trusts.

Nominating our trustee company in your Will provides you with professional management and completion on all aspects of settling an estate and passing on your intended inheritances to your named beneficiaries. Normally this nomination would be in conjunction with your nominated family member/s.

As nominated professional trustees in your Family Trust we can manage the process of formally “winding up” your Trust upon your passing and arrange payments to your intended beneficiaries.

Advising your beneficiaries - Trusts

Depending on the family and financial situation of your intended beneficiaries, we will advise them all options open to them relevant to their inheritance.

They have the option of taking some, all or none of their inheritance – to ensure that their inheritance is not at risk to outside threats – for example a pending divorce, loss of capacity, or financially irresponsible person.

Expensive solicitor fees

Most solicitors` fees for probate are based on a percentage of the estate`s value plus Court Costs, and some solicitors even set an initial base amount then add their percentage on top of that!

Our fee basis is charged based on actual time worked on a case, plus the usual Court fees.
